Oct 8 - Defense, Special Teams lead Knights to victory

Defense and special teams led the Knights football team to a 16-8 victory over UM-Morris.  Senior defensive back Tom Voss picked off Eagles quarterback Jeff Karschnik with 10:47 remaining in the first quarter, and returned it 22 yards for a touchdown, giving the Knights an early 8-0 lead (fullback Sam Hunter’s completed pass to Nate Hochmuth earned a successful two-point conversion)Read Story

Knights Defense Propels Knights to Win over Westminster

The Knights offense generated only two field goals on the game, but that would be enough, as the Knights blanked their second consecutive opponent, defeating Westminster 6-0.  In a rematch of last year's conference championship game, the Knights would come out on top this time around.  The Knights defense has held opponents scoreless the last 11 quarters.

Sept 17 - Knights begin Conference Season with a W

The Knights defense continues to be dominant, shutting out Maranatha College Saturday, 21-0.  The Knights jumped out to a 21-0 lead at halftime, holding the Crusader offense to just four first downs in the first half.  For the game, the Knights defense allowed a paltry 148 yards.  Next Up for the Knights is an away game against the 2004 UMAC Champion Westminster College.

Sept 14 - Knights Defense Great, Offense not so Great

The Knights were unable to generate any offense as Waldorf held on to defeat MLC 10-2. Despite standout defensive play by junior linebacker Jonathan Lindloff, who led the team with 16 tackles and two sacks, including a safety, the Knights could not get enough going offensively to put the ball in the endzone.  Read Story

Mar. 23 - 2004 Recap

Last year's Knights could adopt the name the "cardiac Knights" with three come from behind wins in the fourth quarter, and nearly pulling off the same feat in the Dome championship game.  They trailed 35-14, eventually scoring the tying touchdown late in the game, only to have it called back by penalty before losing 35-28 to Westminster.  For the stats of last season and much more, click on the link provided below.
