The Knights come into Saturday's match-up looking to extend their conference record at 2-0 and even their overall record at 2-2.  In the opening weekend of conference play, the Knights won in grand style, defeating Blackburn College 34-7.  The Knights owned a 34-0 lead at the half.  The win did not go unnoticed in the UMAC, with junior wide reciever Jake Schwartz (3 catches for 136 yards including a 70 touchdown catch) and senior special teams/linebacker Joel Free (2 blocked punts) both receiving Player of the Week honors.

Crown is coming off a 25-0 loss to Maranatha last Saturday and will be itching to get back on the scoreboard.  The Knights have had success with the big play in the last two weeks.  Against Waldorf two weeks ago the Knights recovered an onside kick and on the first play of the game, senior quarterback Phil Scriver threw a 54 yard touchdown strike to senior wideout Dan Gawrisch.  Last week Scriver connected with Schwartz for a 70 yard touchdown catch and run.  It'll be interesting to see what coach Lange has up his sleeve this week.
