Knights Roll in Opener

Freshman quarterback Greg Holzhueter set a new Knights record as he passed for five touchdowns and ran for another, as the Knights defeated Blackburn 47-17 to improve to 1-0 in the UMAC. The Knights scored the first 27 points of the game, including a 20 yard pass from Holzhueter to junior running back Alex Hunt.  Senior defensive lineman Seth Scheuerlein led the Knights with a game-high 14 1/2 tackles.  Senior running back Joel Voss led the Knights with 89 rushing yards on only 10 carries and leads the UMAC with 280 yards.  Holzhueter's five touchdown passes broke Jared Oldenburg's record of 4 TD passes, set back in 1997 against Crown.   Box Score
