QUICK GAME RECAP: MLC women's basketball team put up a good effort against a good team, but they didn't have enough to overcome the relentless attack of Concordia St Paul as MLC lost 84-52. MLC played Concordia pretty even throughout the first half and was only down by 7 at the end of the first half thanks to two free throws by Bethany Bauer, who was the Knights' leading scorer (14) and rebounder (9) for the night.
Early in the second half MLC closed the gap to within 3 points after a layup by Annie Uecker. Concordia then took control the rest of the game and never looked back, extending their lead to 34 points at one point. MLC travels next to North Central University on Saturday the 15th for a 1:00 pm tip-off.
