QUICK GAME RECAP: The Knights dominated in all aspects of the game, but in their last two wins they have used their defense to propel them to victory. Against North Central the Knights out rebounded the Rams 45-27, which included 27 offensive rebounds. For the year the Knights are out rebounding opponents by an average of over six rebounds/game. The Knights also used a trapping defense against the Rams to force thirty-two Ram turnovers, seventeen of which were steals by MLC. Bethany Bauer led the way for the Knights on Thursday with 6 steals. MLC’s depth, which has been a key all season, was also amplified against North Central as all fourteen players scored for the Knights. MLC takes on Crown Saturday night at 7:00 pm in their UMAC conference opener.
