Feb 8 - Knights suffer frustrating loss to Dordt

  Knights watched their six point halftime lead quickly dissipate, as Dordt shot 52% in the second half en route to a 71-62 victory over Martin Luther College.  Senior center Sarah Beilke scored a game-high 22 points on 10-of-17 from the field.  Junior guard Emma Babinec also contributed 16 points for the Knights.  Box Score

 

Feb 5 - Knights cannot complete sweep, lose to Northwestern

  Knights three-game winning streak comes to a halt, as Northwestern used a strong second half to go past the Knights 61-48 Saturday afternoon.  The Knights went into halftime trailing 29-27, but only shot 26% in the second half.  Junior guard Emma Babinec led the Knights with 12 points.  Box Score

 

Feb 4 - Knights keep eyes on post-season play, win third straight

  The Knights stellar defense put forth another standout performance, holding Crown to under 50 points en route to a 66-49 victory Friday night.  This was the fourth time in the past six games that the Knights have held their opponent to under 50 points on the night.  Junior guard Emma Babinec scored 14 of her game-high 23 points in the first half, as the Knights held a nine-point lead going into the half.  The Knights broke the game wide open after a 14-0 run, giving the Knights a 61-35 lead with just over four minutes remaining in the game.  The Knights held Crown scoreless for over nine minutes in the second half.    Box Score

 

Jan 26 - Knights get victory against local rival

  The Knights outscored the Vikings 22-9 in the first 10 minutes of play, en route to a 64-47 victory.  Senior forward Beth Ebeling collected eight points in that span and had 15 points on the night.  Junior guard Emma Babinec led the Knights with a game-high 16 points.  Box Score

Jan 22 - Knights return to their winning ways

  The Knights move back to .500 in conference play in Saturday afternoon's blow-out victory over UM-Morris, 65-44.  The Knights held the Cougars to only 15 points in the second half.  Sophomore guard Emma Babinec led the Knights with a game-high 16 points.  Senior forward Beth Ebeling also contributed a double-double, scoring 15 points while grabbing down 10 rebounds.  The Knights finish off their three-game home stand Tuesday night against Bethany, with tip-off at 5:00 pm.  Box Score

 

Jan 21 - Knights still searching for offense in loss to Presentation

  The Knights struggled offensively for the third straight game, shooting under 40% for third consecutive game, losing to Presentation 52-42 Friday night.  The Knights dropped under .500 in UMAC play, but have a shot at a weekend split with a win against UM-Morris Saturday.  The Saints jumped out to a 16-4 lead on junior guard Amy Schilling's four three-point shots in the first five minutes of play.  Schilling led the Saints with a game-high 17 points.  Junior guard Emma Babinec led the Knights with 11 points.  Box Score

 

Jan 20 - Knights play host to Presentation and UM-Morris

  Amid up to six inches of snowfall Friday, Presentation made the trip from South Dakota to play the Knights.  The Knights will also be hosting UM-Morris on Saturday.  Click on the team to see a preview for the game.

 

Jan 19 - Knights offense goes cold, suffers loss to Mt. Marty

  Scoring draughts and a hot shooter on the opposing team usually spells trouble and the Knights experienced just that in Tuesday night's non-conference game against Mt. Marty.  Jess Krull scored a season-high 27 points for Mt. Marty, leading the Lancers to their fifth straight win, a 78-56 victory over the Knights. Read Story       Box Score 

 

Jan 15 - Knights watch win slip away in the second half

  After leading by two at the half, the Knights offense went cold in the second half as St. Scholastica, led by guard Jackie Plesha's game-high 26 points, went on to defeat the Knights 60-49.  The Knights did not pick up their first second half field goal until eight minutes into the half.  Senior center Sarah Beilke was a perfect 6-for-6 from the line and 12 points on the night.  Box Score

 

Jan 14 - Knights lose to Northland

  Knights led by 11 only to see Northland come storming back in the second half.  The Knights made the same amount of shots as Northland in the second half, but Northland went to the line 26 times in the second half, and that was the difference, as the Lumberjills went on to win 62-54.  Senior center Sarah Beilke led the Knights with 12 points.  Box Score

 

Jan 13 - Knights host Northland and St. Scholastica this weekend

  The Knights host their first home games of the season with Northland and St. Scholastica this weekend.  Click on either team to read the game-day preview.

 

Jan 7 - Knights start UMAC play with a win

  The lady Knights won a nail-biter last night, defeating Northwestern 68-64.  Knights junior guard Emma Babinec scored 18 of her game-high 29 points in the second half, and finished 5-of-6 from behind-the-arc.  Senior point guard Bethany Bauer also contributed 15 points.

  After a rough start, the Knights begin UMAC conference play Friday at Northwestern.
