April 22 - Hochmuth, Knights defeat the Cougars

Led by senior pitcher Nate Hochmuth's 9-inning, complete game, the Knights handcuffed the Cougar offense, giving up only five hits and one run, en route to the 4-1 victory.  The Knights jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth, thanks to a 2-RBI double by sophomore third baseman Jason Fry.  The Knights would score two more in the bottom of the seventh.  Hochmuth struck out four and walked one, picking up his UMAC leading 6th win.  Box Score

April 20 - Knights defeat Bethany in 11

Playing their second extra inning game against Bethany this year, the Knights were able to again come out on top, this time on a double by senior outfielder Brett Krause in the bottom of the 11th inning.  Freshman outfielder Justin Krause scored from first, giving the Knights a 6-5 victory.  The Knights improve to 11-1 in the UMAC.  Box Score

April 11 - Adjusted Wins 

Due to the use of an illegal player, Waldorf College has forfeited their March 29 games against MLC.  The Knights, however, according to NCAA regulations do not receive the wins.

April 9 - Knights Complete Sweep of Northland, Win Streak at 8

  The Knights came from behind to win game one and did so in grand style, with senior outfielder Shane Krause capping the rally with a two-run, walk-off Home Run, giving the Knights a 7-6 victory.  The Knights cruised to a 13-2 victory over Northland in game 2, as three Knights players each hit a four-bagger, with senior pitcher Nate Hochmuth picking up his third conference victory, and second this week.  Full write-ups forthcoming.

April 8 - Knights Win Sloppy Game, Run Win Streak to Six

  In a game that featured a combined 13 errors, it is only fitting that the game ended with an error.  The Knights battled against the wind and shaky defense to pull out the 16-15 slugfest victory against Northland Friday afternoon.  Read Story
