Oct. 21 - Voss Runs All Over Dome Day Senior running back Joel Voss ran into the end zone four times en route to the Knights season-high 51 points and a 51-36 victory over Westminster in the Metrodome last night. In his last game as a Knight, Voss ran for a career-high 157 yards and 4 touchdowns. Another finale performance came at the hands of senior wideout Jake Schwartz, who finished the game with seven catches and 148 yards. Freshman quarterback Greg Holzhueter capped off his first season at the helm of the Knights offense 19-for-24, 285 yards and a touchdown, adding a touchdown on the ground as well. Holzhueter finished with 14 passing touchdowns and a team-high 21 overall scores for the season. The Knights conclude their season at 6-3 in conference play.
Oct 13 - Schwartz, Knights Win Against Morris Sometimes every bounce goes your way. For Knights WR/K/KR Jake Schwartz every bounce did as he played in his home finale, racking up 2 touchdowns, 188 receiving yards, and a 86 yard kickoff return for a touchdown as the Knights moved past UM-Morris 42-9 Saturday afternoon in New Ulm. Sept. 15 - Holzhueter Breaks Two MLC Records Freshman quarterback Greg Holzhueter set a Knights new single-game passing touchdowns record, and single-game overall touchdown record against Blackburn Saturday. Press Release
Sept. 15 - Holzhueter Propels Knights to Victory Freshman quarterback Greg Holzhueter passed for five touchdowns and ran for another, as the Knights defeated Blackburn 47-17 to improve to 1-0 in the UMAC. Recap
Sept. 8 - Knights Lose Close One to Hamline Freshman quarterback Greg Holzhueter connected with senior wideout Jake Schwartz on a 19 yard touchdown pass, giving the Knights a 19-17 lead with under three minutes to go, but couldn't hold off Hamline's late rally, as the Knights lost a tough, non-conference battle to the Pipers 24-19 in the game's closing seconds.
