QUICK GAME RECAP: The Lady Knights got their first win of the New Year by defeating Pillsbury College, 67-36. Martin Luther struggled early in the game, going on a five minute scoring drought in the first half. However, the Comets could not take advantage of the opportunity and took only a six point lead during the drought. Led by Julie Schramm, MLC recovered, took the lead, and never looked back, going up by twelve at the break, and extending their lead to as many as 36 in the second half.
The Knights will now focus on Northland College this Friday at 5:00 pm, for opening play in the UMAC.
